need to be aware that these labs will only test for the common
mutations and will not pick up people with rare mutations. I
would advice anyone that wants to be tested to discuss the
matter with their GP who could refer them to their local
genetic service if he/she feels it's appropriate. The genetic
service would then counsel the individual before the test is
